This has been my favorite Mexican place in San Diego for over 20 years. I've only had the bean and cheese burrito, but it's so good I haven't tried anything else. The red sauce makes it even more delicious.... Bear in mind the atmosphere is taco stand, so no indoor seating, but there is outdoor seating. If you are looking for a sitdown place, this probably isn't for you. But if you want just delicious food, this is a great spot.

I'm Latina, and I can say they have really good beans and rice here. Some places have runny beans but not here. Their rice is fluffy, too. I usually only get the same items over and over, which are their rolled tacos, chorizo burrito, Pollo Asado with chips.

I have been frequenting this place since the 80's and the days of WCPC. Lmfao. Holy shit the food is still the same and as excellent as I remember. The service is good and you will definitely see a little city life on its boring ass patio

A go to since my youth! The best chicken tacos and amazing carne asada burritos! My son enjoys a bean & cheese burrito! There is a few outside seats to rest Your feet, just about4 tables. Weather is always nice so stay a bit! The service is a walk up window. They never get orders mixed up and always made to order! Come on by!!

Somewhat expensive for a taco shop, and they aren't open as late as they used to be (9PM most days) but still one of the only places that does rolled tacos how I like them (with the powdery, salty Mexican cotija cheese) and I also like their Carnitas burritos. Wish they were open for late night eats!

Had to try again...... I eat my words I was wrong. Ordered the vegetarian nachos and paid extra for everything and boy were they delicious and hefty. I am so happy I can update this review and boast about their food once again. Thank you La Posta

I always stop by here for their rolled tacos before heading to Bronx Pizza. Rolled tacos with guacamole ($5.45): one of the best rolled tacos in all of SD county. Crispy hot temperature shell, in contrast with the cold creamy guacamole, and finished with the slightly salty cotija cheese that brings this to the next level... 10/10. Carne asada burrito ($10.30): tender & citrus flavored beef. The lettuce inside was surprising but worked well with the guacamole and beef. A little skimpy on the beef, but at least the flavors popped, 8/10.

Saturday 12:00pm Chorizo burrito and a combination plate with a cheese enchilada and beef burrito. Two carne asada tacos, 2 cans diet coke, and 1 can dr pepper plus tip. 4/5 stars because I thought the prices were a bit high and the fork was too small and cheap and barely useful as a fork. Happy that chorizo burrito (considered a breakfast menu item) was available. Cheese enchilada, rice, and beans were all yummy. The red sauce is typical hot sauce-spicy and adds that extra little zest to food. $2 for a can of soda Food took about 15 minutes to prepare. Plenty of parking in a lot while waiting.
